Famous 19th-century artists relished painting the Honfleur scene. Today, visiting and local artists do the same - and their patient brush-and-easel presence enhances the harbor's personality. Their works are sold in small art galleries in nearby narrow lanes.

Sainte-Catherine church
Another attraction is the wooden Sainte-Catherine church. Its twin ceilings resemble upturned ship hulls (supposedly because they were designed by shipbuilders, not ecclesiastical architects).
